There's very little reason for Blizzard to NOT include stats further down, even a % range like I said. Knowing I did something X seconds faster, or got 3 rift tiers higher, doesn't mean anything if you ARE that far down the league. But by what metric do I measure how I am doing if I don't know what rank I am, or how much I am increasing it, or if it's decreasing over time?Įven knowing a sort of % range (eg, maybe I'm stuck in the top 30%, and then after one productive day I find I'm in the top 20%) gives a more meaningful progression. You're right, knowing who is around me or what their times are do not matter, nobody not in the top 1k can be considered "competitive". Unless I was in the top 1% (not gonna happen), I have no metric by which to compare myself to people nearby on the ladder. Let's say a million people decide to play the ladder season.

So instead of caring about the top minute percent that I know I'm not one of, I can care about where I am at the time.
